Engineering Solutions International designs and supplies containerised and custom waste incinerators for mining, industrial, medical and remote-site applications worldwide.

Our experience in combustion engineering allows each incinerator to be configured around the actual waste being generated rather than relying on a standard one-size-fits-all approach. Waste composition, daily volume, loading method, operating hours, calorific value and site infrastructure are considered when determining chamber capacity, materials handling and burn-cycle requirements.

ESI systems are particularly suited to demanding gold and copper mining operations, where waste may include cyanide boxes and liners, reagent packaging, IBCs, oily maintenance waste, contaminated PPE, clinical waste and general camp waste.

Systems can be supplied containerised and substantially pre-assembled for remote deployment, supported by site waste assessments, Factory Acceptance Testing, commissioning, operator training, preventative maintenance and remote technical support.

Gold and Copper Mines​

Gold and Copper mines produce specialised waste. Typically located in remote areas, the most viable waste management solution is often incineration. ESI has developed incinerators specifically to burn Cyanide boxes, IBC’s, black jack barrels and contaminated general waste that a typical gold and copper mine produce. Our incinerators have the option to come housed and pre-commissioned in a shipping container which not only saved on building a shelter for the unit, but the incinerator essentially becomes a plug-and-play piece of equipment with minimal on-site installation required.

Hospital and Medical Waste

Contaminated medical waste often has large amounts of plastic and volatiles. There are additional considerations in materials handling to prevent personal injury when handling waste. Hospital waste incinerators are often located near residential areas and as such, require extra care to be taken regarding emissions. ESI has developed specialised programs to burn the highly volatile waste free of visible smoke and to meet the strictest emissions standards.
